These lovely 19th century Delft tiles with sailing boats, castles, windmills, and winter scenes depict typical Dutch landscapes.
 
These tiles are reclaimed tiles from above a 18th century fireplace. Although the tiles are not as old and were placed later they are beautiful Victorian era tiles that having been above a fireplace have beautiful crackling within the ceramic and some discoloring from the heat.
 
None of the tiles are cracked and were removed with great professionalism. They have also been cleaned. They all have the Delft mark and a number but as you can imagine some of these markings have all but disappeared due to the placing and removal and age of the tiles.
 
They all measure: 6.00 inches x 6.00 inches.
