Store your watches or trinkets or any precious thing in this beautiful antique leather chest. Hand Crafted in France, circa 1890s or early 19th century this trunk makes a visual statement no matter the room it is in.
 
The chest, resting on four a walnut base legs, is covered in leather, then embellished in the leather with an old map decorations and studded with hundreds of nails.
 
The Chest interior is lined with a soft red velvet in all drawers as well as the top compartment. The piece has a working lock but NO key (key is for photographic purposes) and overall is in excellent condition with a rich leather patina.
